The practice of looking at the rising sun / Sungasing is one of the oldest healing practices. Looking at the sun in the first hour of the east, in the so-called golden hour, heals the body and soul. No time of day has so much power and magic. The sun gives us life-giving energy that flows from nature. When we use it wisely, it calms us, heals us, and opens the heart.

Sungasing and heliotherapy are types of phototherapy, or light treatment. Solar light reaching through the eyes and skin to our interior stimulates the secretion of happiness hormones such as serotonin and endorphins. Thanks to them, we feel relaxed, we feel better and more energy. We're happier.

All organisms on earth draw energy from the sun. Early standing is consistent with the biological rhythm of man and positively affects our physical and mental resistance. It is worth planning this time for yourself, going to sleep early, so that you can consciously use it. Solar rays are simultaneously a wave of energy and particles of matter, thinned by the atmosphere, at sunrise are safe for our sight.

The healing practice of looking at the sun begins with 10 seconds, increasing each day by about 10 seconds. After 3-6 months we reach 30 minutes a day, maximum reaching 44 minutes in 9 months.

My experience.

Since I was a child, I love the sun, and in my life I have traveled many times behind the sun, especially to the beloved Greece. I am a woman of the sun and an artist who has been photographing daily sunrises for almost three years.

Sungasing has been on and off for over two years. I began consciously practicing in March 2018, went through the entire nine-month trial and reached 44 minutes, after which it is recommended to walk barefoot for at least a week on warm ground. I finished the trial in December and therefore reduced my barefoot walking time to 5 minutes.
It is recommended to practice sungasing in 3, 6 and 9 month cycles with longer breaks.

In our common practice of the Sea of Angels, we often stand on the seashore in a position of power, that is, with our hands raised or holding hands. When we stand in the sea, we firmly build our feet, staring at the rising sun (everyone at his own pace). Breathing leads us to silence and inner peace. We're entering the cold sea. We dive in several times resetting the head and releasing it from unnecessary thoughts. Many of us lie on water, allowing the body to wave, we call it "seaming."

After we leave the sea, we run in the natural rhythm by the seashore for a few minutes, when the heart rate is fast enough, we stop laying our hands on our heart and stare at the rising sun. We breathe naturally and calmly, pulling one or both hands toward the sun. Everyone adjusts the time to look at the sun to their individual process.

Today I am 47 years old, perfect eyesight, I don't wear any glasses, even though three years ago I began to "smear" pictures. This practice allowed me to go through the traumatic experience of my life/losing the closest person to me. I didn't stop this practice that helped me get out of post-traumatic stress syndrome, knowingly go through the grieving process and keep me from depression.

I combine sungasing, which is the simplest form of meditation with many natural healing methods. I am delighted and grateful to recommend these practices.

Being surrounded by nature and its beauty feeds our soul. Beauty is the primal need of every man. Being delighted we are here and now, it leads us to the inner joy of existence.

Going up to the sunrise in the morning and going into the cold sea I create my day and my life, at the same time I go out to meet with life and with what it brings. There's magic at sunrise. Entering a new day with beautiful emotions in my heart I can draw to myself a more beautiful version of myself.

Every day I thank you for my life, for the sun, for the sea, for my new day, and I do what I can to take care of myself and for the place I live. I'm grateful for what I have at my fingertips and what I didn't appreciate before.

Each of us has access to a nature that can support him. We have the power to choose what we practice and why we pay our attention.

I wholeheartedly encourage you to practice and experience.
